==== A SID, SID Story ====

Your Ultimate device comes with an emulated SID chip, and although the emulation is not half bad, and good enough for most people, some people want to put actual hardware in their Ultimate device.
Sadly, real SID chips (6581 or 8580, of any revision) are no longer being made, and after some 40 years,  electronics parts shops rarely still have them in stock. So you would look online for a SID, but the people who sell them often charge you an arm and a leg, and you won't even know if the chip works! 
But fret not, there are alternatives! These are replacements with modern hardware.

So which one should you get? The answer to that depends on a few things. Which SID replacement do you think sounds best? Is it (currently) still available? What is your budget like? How far away from the (re)seller do you live? Do you even have space for your fave SID in your computer's case?
My advice is to compare. There are loads of videos on YouTube where they compare the sound of the various SIDs, so please check those out.
